Medical Examiner Confirms Remains Found Are Caylee Anthony’s

The District 9 Medical Examiner has confirmed as of December 19th, 2008, that the remains found close to the home of the family were those of young Caylee Anthony. The small, human skeleton which was in a black trash bag sealed with duct tape was found on December 11th, 2008 by a meter reader. Casey Anthony, the child’s mother, is charged with first-degree murder.  Casey has come under much fire, and various constant arrests and releases, after her mother called police and reported the smell of decomposition coming from the woman’s trunk. Casey Anthony then finally admitted to police that Caylee had been “missing” since the month prior, but she did not report it. She and her parents initially reported the girl missing on June 9th, 2008. However, a video tape surfaced of Caylee reading a book on June 15th, 2008. Also raising suspicion were Casey’s partying during the time her child was missing, her tales of a mysterious babysitter who was found to not exist and never have been seen by anyone during the time Casey reported she was caring for Caylee, and the constant back-peddling of the grandparents stories. Little Caylee Anthony was born August 9th, 2005 in Orlando, Florida. Prosecutors have said that they will possibly seek the death penalty for Casey Anthony in the murder of her own child. The newly found body, along with the evidence of decompostion found in Casey Anthony’s vehicle, her changing stories about the circumstances of Caylee’s disappearance, and lack of visual emotion will now be put to the test in a court of law. The verdict most likely won’t be a surprise to anyone, nor will it ever be the kind of justice that deserves to be done for such a horrible crime committed against a child, least of all a “mother’s” own little one. It is sad indeed when everyday news reports are littered with murders, family members killing their relatives, and even more sickening parents harming their own children.
