Why Would It Take Almost 30 Years To “Solve” Adam Walsh Murder

Police really didn’t solve the 27 year old Adam Walsh murder, apparently the only reason they finally admitted that the man who had confessed numerous times to doing it was guilty, is because he confessed to his niece on his deathbed. Ottis Toole was allowed to go free and not have to answer to the abduction, murder, and decapitation of the “America’s Most Wanted” founder’s son for decades. Hollywood Florida police gave the excuse that no DNA evidence was present for a conviction. However, clothing similar to what Adam Walsh was wearing the day of his disappearance was found in Toole’s home, he had confessed to killing the boy more than once, and he was the only suspect linked to the crime. Also, considering that the man died over a decade ago, why did it take his niece this long to tell the poor parents? She must be some kind of sicko also. I have a feeling that he had already told them he had done it before becoming ill, but they waited to allow him not to have to face punishment. Sickos always slip up and they always tell on themselves, but people for some odd reason will not come forward. The police are sad excuses, because they can coerce and harass innocent people into confessing for something they know that they did not do, but will not convict someone whom they know killed a child. The Hollywood police claim that their reasoning was because he was found to have given false confessions for several crimes. Some of these crimes were proven to have been done by Toole, however. So you would think that it would stand to reason that they wouldn’t just assume that he was lying considering all of this other evidence. Appalling is the least of what I can say about these people. It is good that the Walsh family can finally have some type of peace in knowing who did this to their son, but it also shows how terrible the so-called justice system is and how it is failing, and that is why so many children are abused and killed. At least what came from this is a television show which helped to catch terrible criminals, solve crimes, and heighten awareness about these disgusting people so that people can be safer in their everyday routines. It is not enough to keep people safe, however, especially with the way the system is set up. If Toole had stolen some government money or robbed a bank, then they would have locked him up a long time ago. Human life means less to the government than money does, and that is obvious.
