Will Blagojevich Take Others Down In Flames?
With the Tuesday arrest of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, one has to wonder who else besides his chief Harris he will be taking down with him as well. It has been no secret that his wife Patti was involved in conversations where he made his corrupt intentions well known to benefit them both according to FBI affidavits. So, it leads one to wonder if she will face any type of charges at all. On another front, Blagojevich also made it clear that he was attempting to do some major political ass kissing when it comes to President-elect Barack Obama. Court documents reflect that he wanted to sell Obama’s empty Senate seat to the highest bidder, ebay you have quite the competition with Blagojevich. His rough and tumble tactics are reminiscent of those head lock methods ebay is pulling on its sellers here lately! The reports don’t implicate Obama whatsoever, but it makes one wonder why he thought he could win some favor. Maybe the Illinois Governor is just very ambitious, or maybe he believes Obama owes him a favor? Who really knows? Lastly, but certainly not least, is Jesse Jackson Jr. When will they release whether or not he was bidding on that seat? He seems to be much on the defensive, but guilty or innocent most people would be. It certainly would be a terribly sad day if he has stooped that low as well. Especially considering the “shame on you’ sentiments he has pointed toward Blagojevich! It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds, yet another tragic scandal hot off the presses to start off 2009!
